The articles are intended to present concise evaluations of current trends in chemistry research to help chemists gain useful insights into fields outside their specialization and provide experts with summaries of recent key developments. Authors are encouraged to give perspectives on their own personal thinking and the historical development that led to significant breakthroughs in research.New developments from industrial laboratories will be featured in a separate section covering corporate research.
