Welcome to the University of Exeter Journal Guide

The Journal Guide helps you as a researcher at University of Exeter to identify open access options when publishing in different journals. Search by journal title, keywords or ISSN to discover journals in your research area. Check if journals are included in publisher agreements (discounts, or no APCs).

This is a new tool, we’d love your feedback: on this Microsoft form.

If you have any questions, visit our website or contact the Open Research team

The CEA Critic

ISSN: 0007-8069eISSN: 2327-5898

An official journal of the College English Association, The CEA Critic publishes scholarly works that, through "close reading" methodology, examine the texts of fiction, poetry, drama, nonfiction, and film studied on the college level. Bridging traditional academic scholarship with practical pedagogy, the journal encompasses a broad range of interests gathered traditionally under English studies: literature, womens studies, speech, composition, minority studies, creative writing, popular culture, film studies, technical communication, and ESL (English as a Second Language). By focusing on the contextual rather than the theoretical aspects of works, The CEA Critic provides a refreshingly sharp academic and practical perspective for teachers and scholars alike. Published three times a year in Winter, Spring-Summer, and Fall for the College English Association (CEA).

The Canadian Historical Review

ISSN: 0008-3755eISSN: 1710-1093

The Canadian Historical Review offers an analysis of the ideas, people, and events that have molded Canadian society and institutions into their present state. Canada's past is examined from a vast and multicultural perspective to provide a thorough assessment of all influences. As a source for penetrating, authoritative scholarship, giving the sort of in-depth background necessary for understanding the course of daily events both for Canadians themselves and for those with an interest in the nation s affairs the CHR is without rival. Indeed, there are good reasons for everyone to read the CHR everyone from business executives to bankers, from theorists to policy makers, scholars and laypeople, too.
