The Journal of Environmental Psychology serves individuals in a wide range of disciplines who have an interest in the scientific study of the transactions and interrelationships between people and their physical surroundings (including built and natural environments, the use and abuse of nature and natural resources, and sustainability-related behavior). The journal publishes internationally contributed empirical studies and reviews of research on these topics that include new insights.As an important forum for the field, the journal reflects the scientific development and maturation of environmental psychology. Contributions on theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of human-environment interactions are welcome, along with innovative or interdisciplinary approaches that have a psychological emphasis.Research Areas Include:• Perception and evaluation of buildings and natural landscapes• Cognitive mapping, spatial cognition and wayfinding• Ecological consequences of human actions• Evaluation of building and natural landscapes• Design of, and experiences related to, the physical aspects of workplaces, schools, residences, public buildings and public spaces• Leisure and tourism behavior in relation to their physical settings• Meaning of built forms• Psychological and behavioral aspects of people and nature• Theories of place, place attachment, and place identity• Psychological aspects of resource management and crises• Environmental risks and hazards: perception, behavior, and management• Stress related to physical settings• Social use of space: crowding, privacy, territoriality, personal space

The Journal of Environmental Quality (JEQ) is a bimonthly journal published by ASA, CSSA, and SSSA. The JEQ editorial board consists of the editor, editors-in-chief of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA, technical editors, associate editors, director of publications, managing editor, and chief executive officer.

The Journal of Environmental Radioactivity provides a coherent international forum for publication of original research or review papers on any aspect of the occurrence of radioactivity in natural systems.Relevant subject areas range from applications of environmental radionuclides as mechanistic or timescale tracers of natural processes to assessments of the radioecological or radiological effects of ambient radioactivity. Papers deal with naturally occurring nuclides or with those created and released by man through nuclear weapons manufacture and testing, energy production, fuel-cycle technology, etc. Reports on radioactivity in the oceans, sediments, rivers, lakes, groundwaters, soils, atmosphere and all divisions of the biosphere are welcomed, but these should not simply be of a monitoring nature unless the data are particularly innovative.Research papers are also included which, by either experimental or theoretical approaches, aim towards an improved understanding of the behaviour, transfer and distribution of environmental radionuclides. Predictive modelling is particularly encouraged. Papers on dating methods are acceptable if they have clear geophysical or geochemical significance. Descriptions of experimental methods should be both highly original and specifically related to determination of low-level environmental activities.The journal provides a vehicle for objective, open and peer-reviewed publication and discussion of the more controversial aspects of environmental radioactivity, including assessments of health effects, criteria for discharge control and options for ultimate disposal of nuclear wastes.Publication in this field is also encouraged in the related book series Radioactivity in the Environment designed to complement the coverage of the journal.

The Environmental Claims Journal is a quarterly journal that focuses on the many types of claims and liabilities that result from environmental exposures. The ECJ considers environmental claims under older business insurance policies, coverage and claims under more recent environmental insurance policies, as well as toxic tort claims. Exposures and claims from all environmental media are considered: air, drinking water, groundwater, soil, chemicals in commerce and naturally occurring chemicals. The journal also considers the laws, regulations, and case law that form the basis for claims. The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part A publishes significant advances and discoveries in all aspects of 'Science and Engineering.' as they apply to environmental problem solving. The Journal addresses topics, including, but not limited to, pollutants, xenobiotics and pharmaceuticals in water, soil, sediment and air, and their impact on human health or environmental quality; their origin, fate, biodegradation and transport in the environment; modeling of environmental biological and chemical systems; environmental toxicology, microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry, engineering and hazard/risk assessment; treatment and remediation technologies of water and wastewater, municipal and industrial wastes, leachate from hazardous landfill, toxic and hazardous substances , soil decontamination and treatment of industrial effluents. In addition, the journal also publishes research notes dealing with new methods and/or their development for the detection and measurement of environmental contaminants. Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part A will also publish special issues and review articles summarizing and analyzing the state-of-the-art within the aims and scope of the journal. The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B provides an outlet for original research reports on analytical techniques or improvements on existing methods applicable to residues of pesticides, veterinary drugs, food contaminants (natural and additive), and other chemical contaminants, and their metabolites in the ecosphere. The journal offers original factual reports on the chemistry, toxicology, persistence, binding, translocation, chemical and biodegradation, and metabolic fate of these chemicals; their effectual contamination of the biosphere; their environmental fate; methods of detoxification; and their toxicological considerations and consequences. The journal also encompasses the development of integrated methods of pest control and various aspects of agricultural wastes, , including treatment and disposal. Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B will also publish review articles summarizing and analyzing the state-of-the-art within the aims and scope of the journal. The Journal of Environmental Sciences is an international journal started in 1989.
