The Quarterly Journal of Economics is the oldest professional journal of economics in the English language. Edited at Harvard University's Department of Economics, it covers all aspects of the field. QJE is invaluable to professional and academic economists and students around the world.

The Quarterly Journal of Mathematics publishes original contributions to pure mathematics. Areas such as algebra, differential geometry, and global analysis receive particular emphasis. However the journal avoids specialization.

The Quarterly Journal of Mechanics and Applied Mathematicspublishes original research articles on the application of mathematics to the field of mechanics interpreted in its widest sense. In addition to traditional areas. such as fluid and solid mechanics. the editors welcome submissions relating to any modern and emerging areas of applied mathematics.

The premier review journal in biology, The Quarterly Review of Biology has since 1926 presented insightful historical, philosophical, and technical treatments of important biological topics. The QRB publishes outstanding review articles of generous length that are guided by an expansive, inclusive, and often humanistic understanding of biology. Beyond the core biological sciences, the QRB is also an important review journal for scholars in related areas, which include policy studies and the history and philosophy of science. The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance (QREF) attracts and publishes high quality manuscripts that cover topics in the areas of economics, financial economics and finance. The subject matter may be theoretical, empirical or policy related. Emphasis is placed on quality, originality, clear arguments, persuasive evidence, intelligent analysis and clear writing. At least one Special Issue is published per year. These issues have guest editors, are devoted to a single theme and the papers have well known authors. In addition we pride ourselves in being able to provide three to four article "Focus" sections in most of our issues. These "Focus" sections have a common theme, may or may not have a guest editor, and often contain papers that were presented in a session at a regional, national or international meeting. These can be published in a very timely manner. Finally, QREF is the journal of the Midwest Economic Association. At least two members are chosen by this organization to serve on the editorial board.
