The Journal of Physical Chemistry B (JPC B) publishes experimental, theoretical, and computational research in the area of biophysics, biochemistry, biomaterials, liquids and soft matter. Examples of topics of special interest include:

The Journal of Physical Chemistry C: Energy, Materials, and Catalysis. 

The Journal of Physical Chemistry C (JPC C) publishes experimental, theoretical, and computational research on the physical chemistry of nano, low-dimensional and bulk materials; chemical transformations at interfaces; and energy conversion and storage. The Journal of Physiological Sciences publishes peer-reviewed original papers, reviews, short communications, technical notes, and letters to the editor, based on the principles and theories of modern physiology and addressed to the international scientific community. All fields of physiology are covered, encompassing molecular, cellular and systems physiology. The emphasis is on human and vertebrate physiology, but comparative papers are also considered. The process of obtaining results must be ethically sound.

Scope and subject areas The Journal of Physiology publishes full-length research papers and Rapid Reports of particularly important work that merits accelerated publication. Techniques for Physiology, introduced in 2008, are short papers aimed at disseminating new techniques for physiological research. Articles solicited by the Editorial Board include Perspectives, Symposium Reports and Topical Reviews, which highlight areas of special physiological interest, and Classical Perspectives describing how classic papers published in The Journal have influenced current research. Letters to the Editor and Journal Club articles are also published. All categories of papers are subjected to the same review procedure. The Journal of Political Philosophy is an international journal devoted to the study of theoretical issues arising out of moral, legal and political life. It welcomes, and hopes to foster, work cutting across a variety of disciplinary concerns, among them philosophy, sociology, history, economics and political science. The journal encourages new approaches, including (but not limited to): feminism; environmentalism; critical theory, post-modernism and analytical Marxism; social and public choice theory; law and economics, critical legal studies and critical race studies; and game theoretic, socio-biological and anthropological approaches to politics. It also welcomes work in the history of political thought which builds to a larger philosophical point and work in the philosophy of the social sciences and applied ethics with broader political implications. One of the oldest regional political science journals in the United States Journal of Politics offers a blend of various styles of political science and maintains its representation of the broad scope of the discipline. Published for the Southern Political Science Association the Journal features balanced treatments in fields which include American politics political theory comparative and international politics.

The popular culture movement was founded on the principle that the perspectives and experiences of common folk offer compelling insights into the social world. The fabric of human social life is not merely the art deemed worthy to hang in museums, the books that have won literary prizes or been named 'classics,' or the religious and social ceremonies carried out by societies' elite. The Journal of Popular Culture continues to break down the barriers between so-called 'low' and 'high' culture and focuses on filling in the gaps that a neglect of popular culture has left in our understanding of the workings of society.

It focuses on aspects of the human condition that lead to happiness, fulfillment, and flourishing. The Journal of Positive Psychology provides an interdisciplinary and international forum for the science and application of positive psychology. The Journal is devoted to basic research and professional application on states of optimal human functioning and fulfillment, and the facilitation and promotion of well-being. The Journal brings together leading work in positive psychology undertaken by researchers across different subdisciplines within psychology (e.g., social, personality, clinical, developmental, health, organizational), as well as across other social and behavioral disciplines (e.g., sociology, family studies, anthropology, neuroscience, philosophy, economics, medicine, organizational sciences). Topics appropriate for the Journal include original research on human strengths and virtues, personal and social well-being, as well as applications to psychotherapy and counseling. The Journal of Religion is one of the publications by which the Divinity School of The University of Chicago seeks to promote critical, hermeneutical, historical, and constructive inquiry into religion. While expecting articles to advance scholarship in their respective fields in a lucid, cogent, and fresh way, the Journal is especially interested in areas of research with a broad range of implications for scholars of religion, or cross-disciplinary relevance.
