Symbiosis publishes the results of original research contributing to the understanding of symbiotic interactions at the molecular, cellular and organismic levels. The journal is intended introduce new or unknown symbioses for research in symbiology. This wide-ranging approach is designed to encourage and enhance interaction among researchers in the various sectors of an intriguing and rapidly expanding field. Topics of particular interest include nutritional interactions; mutual regulatory and morphogenic effects; structural coadaptations; interspecific recognition and specificity; ecological adaptations; evolutionary consequences of symbiosis; culture and other specific methods used for symbiotic research. Symbiosis publishes accounts of original studies, review articles, book reviews, meeting reports and a calendar of events.

Symbolae Osloenses was first published in 1922 under the title Symbolae Arctoae. Its present title was established in 1924 (Vol.II), with the new subtitle added in 1997.

A premier journal, Symbolic Interaction presents work inspired by the interactionist perspective on society, social organization, and social life. It is the major publication of the Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction. The journal welcomes contributions from all scholars working, empirically or theoretically, within the broad tradition of social science inspired by American pragmatism and its European counterparts, as well as those wishing to engage in debates with that tradition. The journal publishes research that develops interactionist theories, generates new methodological directions and ideas, and studies substantive topics from the interactionist perspective. It recognizes the increasing global interest in interactionist approaches, and actively encourages submissions from scholars working from a variety of affiliations.

Symmetry (ISSN 2073-8994), an international and interdisciplinary scientific journal, publishes reviews, regular research papers and short notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided, so that results can be reproduced. There are in addition three unique features: Manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcomed. Comments on any related papers published in this journal and other journals can be published as short letters. Electronic files regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, will be deposited as supplementary material.

Symposium is a quarterly journal of criticism in modern literatures originating in languages other than English. Recent issues include peer-reviewed essays on works by Jorge Luis Borges, Bertolt Brecht, Mikhail Bulgakov, Miguel de Cervantes, Denis Diderot, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Paloma D237;az-Mas, Assia Djebar, Umberto Eco, Franz Kafka, Francis Ponge, and Leonardo Sciascia. Scholars of literature will find research on authors, themes, periods, genres, works, and theory, often through comparative studies. Synchrotron Radiation News, a controlled circulation, bi-monthly publication, is read by scientists at synchrotron radiation facilities throughout the world. Appointed facility correspondents report on major activities and new developments at their centers, including equipment upgrades and the rapidly increasing number of new applications.
