Strength and Conditioning Journal is the National Strength and Conditioning Association's professional journal for strength coaches, personal trainers, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other health professionals working in the strength and conditioning field. The journal's mission is to publish articles that report both the practical applications of research findings and the knowledge gained by experienced professionals.Published six times per year, each issue includes peer-reviewed articles on a wide variety of timely strength and conditioning topics as well as regular features that provide thought-provoking accounts of people, programs and issues.Website: www.nsca-scj.org.

Strength of Materials focuses on the strength of materials and structural components subjected to different types of force and thermal loadings, the limiting strength criteria of structures, and the theory of strength of structures. Consideration is given to actual operating conditions, problems of crack resistance and theories of failure, the theory of oscillations of real mechanical systems, and calculations of the stress-strain state of structural components. Strength of Materials is a translation of the peer-reviewed Ukrainian journal Problemy Prochnosti. The Russian-language edition is published and copyrighted by the Pisarenko Institute of Problems of Strength of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The journal Stress aims to provide scientists involved in basic stress research with the possibility of reading a more integrated view of the field. Peer reviewed papers, invited reviews and short communications will deal with interdisciplinary aspects of stress in terms of: the mechanisms of stressful stimulation, including within and between individuals; the physiological and behavioural responses to stress, and their regulation, in both the short and long term; adaptive mechanisms, coping strategies and the pathological consequences of stress.Stress will publish the latest developments in physiology, neurobiology, molecular biology, genetics research, immunology, and behavioural studies as they impact on the understanding of stress and its adverse consequences and their amelioration.Specific approaches may include transgenic animals, developmental/programming studies, electrophysiology, histochemistry, neurochemistry, neuropharmacology, neuroanatomy, endocrinology, autonomic physiology, immunology, chronic pain, ethological and other behavioural studies and clinical measures.

Stroke Research and Treatment is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies in all aspects of stroke.

Structural Change and Economic Dynamics publishes articles about theoretical, applied and methodological aspects of structural change in economic systems. The journal publishes work analysing dynamics and structural breaks in economic, technological, behavioural and institutional patterns. Articles might examine the effects of the incorporation of new technologies, aspects of international economic integration and development, the changing structure of employment and income distribution, the interdependence between environmental and economic change, and related issues. An important aim is to facilitate communication among researchers who are actively engaged in the study of the various aspects of structural change and the dynamics of economic systems. SCED encourages articles that apply econometric and statistical techniques to the above themes. The journal Structural Chemistry offers peer-reviewed original research papers on condensed and gaseous states of matter. Coverage includes techniques for the determination of structure and energetics, their results, and the conclusions derived from these studies. The journal spans artificial divisions in current literature among the areas of structure determination, energetics, and applications, and builds a bridge to other chemical disciplines. It offers broad discussion of results, observation of relationships among various properties, and applications of structure and energy information in all domains of chemistry. The Journal Structural Control and Health Monitoring provides a forum in which survey articles and original research in the field of structural control can be communicated rapidly toward a cross-fertilization of information and ideas. An important aim is not only to achieve a balance between academic material and practical applications, but also to establish an interface between the many topics which characterise the interdisciplinary nature of structural control. The Journal encompasses all aspects of structural control theory and technology.
