Journal Guide

The goal of the journal is to establish a scientific dialogue between scholars from Scandinavian and Nordic countries working on Francophone studies. The journal also invites outstanding contributions from international scholars to promote the idea of literary reception in Nordic countries, which means the focus on Francophone Literature and World-Literature from a Nordic perspective. The journal welcomes both literary and cultural contributions to understanding the diversity of the Francophone world. 

This journal is published with Open Access to provide quality checked research to the French-speaking world free of charge.

L´objectif de cette revue est d´établir un dialogue scientifique entre les chercheurs des pays scandinaves et nordiques travaillant sur les études francophones. La revue accueille également des contributions internationales portant sur la réception littéraire dans les pays nordiques en insistant notamment sur la relation entre littérature francophone et World-Literature d´un point de vue nordique. En réalité, la revue abrite des contributions littéraires et culturelles sur la diversité du monde francophone.

Established in 1930, the Nordic Journal of International Law has remained the principal forum in the Nordic countries for the scholarly exchange on legal development in the international and European domains. Combining broad thematic coverage with rigorous quality demands, it aims to present current practice and its theoretical reflection within the different branches of international law.

The Nordic Journal of Migration Research is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open access international journal that is cost free for authors and readers alike. The journal publishes theoretical and empirical analyses of migratory processes, dealing with themes such as nationalism and transnationalism, ethnic relations and racism, border practices and belonging. The journal gives priority to Nordic issues, but publishes articles also from other geographical contexts.

Nordic Journal of Music Therapy NJMT is published in collaboration with GAMUT - The Grieg Academy Music Therapy Research Centre (Uni Health and University of Bergen), with financial support from Nordic Board for Periodicals in the Humanities and Social Sciences and in co-operation with university programs and organizations of music therapy in the Nordic and Baltic countries.The Nordic Journal of Music Therapy serves the international community of music therapy by being an avenue for publication of scholarly articles, texts on practice, theory and research, dialogues and discussions, reviews and critique. Publication of the journal is based on the collaboration between the music therapy communities in the five Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden and the three Baltic Countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This international but still regional foundation offers a platform for development of communication with the broader international community of music therapy. Scholars from all over the world are welcomed to write in the journal. Any kind of scholarly articles related to the field of music therapy are welcomed. All articles are reviewed by two referees and by the editors, to ensure the quality of the journal. Since the field of music therapy is still young, we work hard to make the review process a constructive learning experience for the author. The Nordic Journal of Music Therapy does not step aside from active engagement in the development of the discipline, in order to stimulate multicultural, meta-theoretical and philosophical discussions, and new and diverse forms of inquiry. The journal also stimulates reflections on music as the medium that defines the discipline. Perspectives inspired by musicology and ethnomusicology are therefore welcomed. In addition to scholarly articles we will look for other ways of facilitating the music therapy discourse, and we put effort into presenting interviews and dialogues that can stimulate this, as well as reviews of important books in the field. Nordic Journal of Psychiatry is published for the Psychiatric Associations in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. A main source of information about current Nordic psychiatry and related fields, addressing itself to researchers, clinical psychiatrists and other professionals within the field.The journal is distributed to members of the Nordic Psychiatric Associations as well as to most members of the Nordic Associations for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and to the members of the Psychiatric Associations in the Baltic countries. The journal also has many subscribers among psychologists, social workers and psychiatric nurses.The Nordic Journal of Psychiatry, which was first published in 1947, is the professional scientific organ for the five Nordic Psychiatric Associations.All relevant themes in psychiatry are represented -- from psychotherapy to psychopharmacology.The contents cover original articles, review articles, special topic issues, supplements, debate columns, book reviews and a congress diary. All areas within psychiatry are represented: Child and adult psychiatry, psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, social psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine.
