This is the home page of SciELO Site. The objective of the site is to implement an electronic virtual library, providing full access to a collection of serial titles, a collection of issues from individual serial titles, as well as to the full text of articles. The access to both serial titles and articles is available via indexes and search forms.SciELO site is an integral part of the FAPESP-BIREME Project and it is an application of the methodology being developed by the project, particularly the Internet Interface module. The site will be constantly updated both in form and content, according to the project's advancements.

Neurocritical Care is a peer reviewed scientific publication whose major goal is to disseminate new knowledge on all aspects of acute neurological care. It is directed towards neurosurgeons, neuro-intensivists, neurologists, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians, and critical care nurses treating patients with urgent neurologic disorders. These are conditions that may potentially evolve rapidly and could need immediate medical or surgical intervention. Neurocritical Care provides a comprehensive overview of current developments in intensive care neurology, neurosurgery and neuroanesthesia and includes information about new therapeutic avenues and technological innovations. Neurocritical Care is the official journal of the Neurocritical Care Society.
Neurodegenerative Disease Management presents findings, analysis and commentary in the ongoing battle with a range of debilitating illnesses. The journal provides guidance to the multidisciplinary disease management community regarding the most effective treatment strategies and the implications of cutting-edge research as it emerges. It is vital that the management of neurodegenerative diseases is approached in a strategic, systematic fashion. Neurodegenerative Disease Management provides a key resource for neurologists and other physicians and professionals endeavoring to provide the best possible care to patients.
Neurodegenerative Diseases is a multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing and discussing advances in research on all aspects of neurodegenerative diseases. The journal focuses on Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and Huntington disease but also welcomes articles on related neurological and psychiatric disorders. It has a particular emphasis on the interplay between vascular pathology, neuroinflammatory change, and the progression of neurodegenerative disease. In addition to clinical and basic science studies, brief methodological papers are welcome in the emerging fields of statistical genetics, clinical and preclinical neuroimaging, novel algorithms of biomedical image computing, and other approaches elucidating mechanisms of neurodegenerative disease.
Neurodegenerative Diseases accepts high-quality papers in the form of brief reports, research articles, and review articles from a broad spectrum of scientific research areas ranging from neuroimaging and biomarker studies, molecular and cell biology, as well as pharmacology. All articles undergo rigorous scientific as well as statistical/bioinformatic peer review to ensure excellence. The journal provides fast peer review and provides opportunities for open-access publication.
Neuroendocrinology publishes original research covering all aspects from basic to clinical neuroendocrinology. The journal explores the complex bidirectional interactions between the nervous systems and the endocrine systems in both physiological and pathological conditions.
The journal reports on the latest contributions elucidating roles of the peptidic and steroidal hormones and other substances in the control of reproduction, development, sex/gender, degeneration, energy balance, stress responses, inflammation, rhythms, cognition, behavior, tumors and aging. In addition to basic or clinical research, published articles appeal to cutting edge omics approaches and imaging methods to address the molecular functioning and neuroanatomy of neuroendocrine systems in this rapidly expanding field.
Neuroendocrinology seeks scientific excellence. The journal regularly publishes special/focus issues of topical interest and contemporary review articles by renowned experts to address hot topics in current research.
Neuroepidemiology is the only internationally recognized peer-reviewed periodical dedicated to descriptive, analytical, and experimental studies in the epidemiology of neurological diseases. The scope of the journal expands the boundaries of traditional clinical neurology by providing new insights regarding the etiology, determinants, distribution, management, and prevention of diseases of the nervous system. To meet the demands of the ever-increasing pace in research, Neuroepidemiology is committed to reducing its online publication span to approximately 6 weeks after acceptance: papers are published online first.
Neuroethics is a forum for interdisciplinary studies in neuroethics and related issues in the sciences of the mind. The focus is on ethical issues posed by new technologies developed via neuroscience, such as psycho-pharmaceuticals and other ways of intervening in the mind; the practice of neuroscience itself, including problems posed by incidental findings in imaging work on research subjects; regulation of neuroscientific technologies, and ways in which the sciences of the mind illuminate traditional moral and philosophical problems, such as the nature of free will and moral responsibility, self-deception, weakness of the will and the nature of personhood. This important publication covers the dual areas of neuroethics: the ethics of neuroscience and the neuroscience of ethics. It offers comprehensive bibliographies, reviews of significant literature, information on activities including partial proceedings of selected meetings, and an opinions section for reader commentaries.
