INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF QUANTUM CHEMISTRY A journal devoted to theory and computation in molecular chemistry, physics and biology The International Journal of Quantum Chemistry is concerned with the quantum mechanical description of the structure, properties, and dynamics of atoms, molecules, condensed matter, and biomolecular systems. In addition to formal development of theory and related mathematical and numerical applications, the Journal is interested in publishing applications where quantum mechanical concepts interact with molecular and phenomenological modeling. The scope of the Journal includes papers dealing with such diverse topics as formal developments in theory, simulations of dynamical processes, calculation of molecular properties, and phenomenological modeling.
The International Journal of Quantum Information (IJQI) provides a forum for the interdisciplinary field of Quantum Information Science. In particular, we welcome contributions in these areas of experimental and theoretical research: * Quantum Cryptography * Quantum Computation * Quantum Communication * Fundamentals of Quantum MechanicsAuthors are welcome to submit quality research and review papers as well as short correspondences in both theoretical and experimental areas. Submitted articles will be refereed prior to acceptance for publication in the Journal.
International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering provides a common forum for the dissemination of research and development results in the areas of computer-aided design and engineering of RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave components, circuits, subsystems, and antennas. The journal is intended to be a single source of valuable information for all engineers and technicians, RF/microwave/mm-wave CAD tool vendors, researchers in industry, government and academia, professors and students, and systems engineers involved in RF/microwave/mm-wave technology. Multidisciplinary in scope, the journal publishes peer-reviewed articles and short papers on topics that include, but are not limited to. . .
The International Journal of Radiation Biology publishes original papers, reviews, current topic articles, technical notes/reports, and meeting reports on the effects of ionizing, UV and visible radiation, accelerated particles, microwaves, ultrasound, heat and related modalities. The focus is on the biological effects of such radiations: from radiation chemistry to the spectrum of responses of living organisms and underlying mechanisms, including genetic abnormalities, repair phenomena, cell death, dose modifying agents and tissue responses. Application of basic studies to medical uses of radiation extends the coverage to practical problems such as physical and chemical adjuvants which improve the effectiveness of radiation in cancer therapy. Assessment of the hazards of low doses of radiation is also considered.
International Journal of Radiation Oncology • Biology • Physics (IJROBP), known in the field as the Red Journal, publishes original laboratory and clinical investigations related to radiation oncology, radiation biology, medical physics, and both education and health policy as it relates to the field. This journal has a particular interest in original contributions of the following types: prospective clinical trials, outcomes research, and large database interrogation. In addition, it seeks reports of high-impact innovations in single or combined modality treatment, tumor sensitization, normal tissue protection (including both precision avoidance and pharmacologic means), brachytherapy, particle irradiation, and cancer imaging. Technical advances related to dosimetry and conformal radiation treatment planning are of interest, as are basic science studies investigating tumor physiology and the molecular biology underlying cancer and normal tissue radiation response. The Red Journal's sister publication is Practical Radiation Oncology. The unprecedented modernization and expansion of rail transportation system will require substantial new efforts in scientific research for field-deployable technologies. The International Journal of Rail Transportation (IJRT) aims to provide an open forum for scientists, researchers, and engineers in the world to promote the exchange of the latest scientific and technological innovations in rail transportation; and to advance the state-of-the-art engineering and practices for various types of rail based transportation systems.
IJRT covers all main areas of rail vehicle, infrastructure, traction power, operation, communication, and environment. The journal publishes original, significant articles on topics in dynamics and mechanics of rail vehicle, track, and bridge system; planning and design, construction, operation, inspection, and maintenance of rail infrastructure; train operation, control, scheduling and management; rail electrification; signalling and communication; and environmental impacts such as vibration and noise.
IJRIS is an interdisciplinary forum that publishes original and significant work related to intelligent systems based on all kinds of formal and informal reasoning. Intelligent systems imply any systems that can do systematised reasoning, including automated and heuristic reasoning.
This international journal publishes original articles concerned with all aspects of refractory metals and hard materials.
The refractory metals comprise selected metals with melting points around 2000°C and higher, with similar powder metallurgical production and application. This includes the following metals and their alloys: Tungsten, Molybdenum, Chromium, Tantalum, Niobium and Rhenium.
Advances in hard materials continue and the journal will continue to deal with the production, uses and properties of the carbides, nitrides and borides of these metals and those of titanium as well as tools of ceramics, the superhard boron nitrides and diamond, and related compounds.
Papers are also published on the technologies of powder production (including their precursor materials), milling, granulation, cold and hot compaction, sintering, hot isostatic pressing, pulsed and other assisted consolidation, additive manufacturing, injection molding, as well as coatings on refractory metals, hard metals and hard materials. However, this does not include intermetallics and coatings on steel substrates. The characterization, testing, quality assurance and applications are also covered.
The
The International Journal of Refrigeration is published for the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) by Elsevier. It is essential reading for all those wishing to keep abreast of research and industrial news in refrigeration, air conditioning and associated fields. This is particularly important in these times of rapid introduction of alternative refrigerants and the emergence of new technology. The journal has published special issues on alternative refrigerants and novel topics in the field of boiling, condensation, heat pumps, food refrigeration, carbon dioxide, ammonia, hydrocarbons, magnetic refrigeration at room temperature, sorptive cooling, and phase change materials and slurries. As well as original research papers the International Journal of Refrigeration also includes review articles, papers presented at IIR conferences, short reports and letters describing preliminary results and experimental details, and letters to the Editor on recent areas of discussion and controversy. Other features include forthcoming events, conference reports and book reviews.Papers are published in either English or French with the IIR news section in both languages.Months of publication: January, February, April, May, June, August, October and DecemberIndex bound in last issue of calendar year.Visit the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) homepage.
