When submitting to an open access journal in this agreement, during submission use the 'Account code tool' to look up and select University of Exeter. When submitting to a hybrid journal, complete the publisher forms after acceptance listing Exeter affiliation. The open access request will be sent to our institutional account.
Please note, the Wiley agreement does not have unlimited publishing in open access journals. The publishing allowance for Wiley fully open access journals ran out on 2nd November 2026. If your article is accepted to a Wiley open access journal in November or December 2026, we will need to pay an APC, please contact the Open Research team before completing the payment forms to discuss your options for funding this.
The publishing allowance for fully open access journals in the Wiley agreement in 2027 is set to be the same as 2026 so we expect articles accepted to Wiley open access journals from October 2027 onwards may not be covered by the agreement and will incur an APC.
